Causes:

It is common to see a decline in your skin condition as a result of a compromised barrier function. This may be caused by various intrinsic & extrinsic factors such as weather changes, lifestyle, general health, age, hormonal changes & the use of skin irritants. Various skin lesions may occur as a separate process spontaneously or as a result of systemic health problems, drugs or local injury & friction to the skin.

Symptoms:

Common symptoms of a decline in skin condition includes dryness & dehydration, redness & irritation, dull skin with unevern texture or oily skin with dilated pores. Skin lesions on the other hand may appear as small blemishes on the skin surface such as milia, skin tags, cherry angiomas, Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra (DPN) or sebaceous hyperplasia.

Going through cancer has been one of the scariest and most difficult experiences of my life. When you face an illness like this, you realise how precious life is and how much a little kindness, understanding, and warmth can mean. Returning to Dr Ana Skin Clinic today was an emotional moment for me, and the way Dr Ana welcomed me back touched my heart more than words can express.
Dr Ana is not only an exceptionally talented and highly skilled doctor, but, above all, a truly wonderful woman with a beautiful heart. She understands that illness does not discriminate, that life can change for any of us, and that behind every face is a person with feelings, fears, and a story. Her compassion made me feel welcomed, understood, and cared for at a time when I needed it most.
A very special thank you to Kelly, with whom I shared a few tears today. Sometimes, words are simply not enough, and it is in these emotional moments that the true kindness of another person shines through. Thank you for your warmth, understanding, and for making me feel that I was not just another client walking through the door.
